Recipe: Dreamy Green Smoothie

This recipe for a healthy and dreamily delicious green smoothie is inspired by the beautiful, warm spring weather that we've been blessed with lately! It's easy to modify for special dietary restrictions and the full serving can be used as a meal replacement. It also contains your entire day's worth of fruit servings, and all of the sugar (except the yogurt) comes from fruit.

VEGAN OPTION | GLUTEN-FREE

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened milk of choice (I used Earth's Own unsweetened almond)
  • 1/2 cup frozen unsweetened peach slices
  • 1 kiwi, peeled
  • 1 small banana
  • 3 tbsp pure lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp tahini (optional - I used Nuts to You brand)
  • 3 tbsp vanilla greek yogurt, variety of choice
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder
  • 1 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
  • 1 scoop plain protein powder (optional, but recommended if replacing a meal)

Directions

Blend all ingredients together in a blender until smooth and ENJOY!
